Meet the Composer

The purpose of the residency in Beirut is two fold: 1) to develop, and perform live in the 2008 Irijal Festival of Experimantal Music, a new composition that incorporates found archived materials as a motif, 2) to archive and research audio as part of a joint Lebanese/American collaboration to preserve and recontextualize Lebanese radio recordings from the past as well as the present.
