Bates, Bunch and Puts in residence with the Mobile Symphony
Organization:
Mobile Symphony Mobile Symphony hosted a three-year residency project with composers Mason Bates, Kenji Bunch, and Kevin Puts from 2005-2008.
The three-year residency will offered each composer the opportunity to create a new symphonic work; work extensively with the orchestra on their education activities; assist the orchestra in connecting symphonic music to the community; collaborating with other area cultural organizations; helped expand relationships with current community partners; helped build the "star" factor for Mobile Symphony musicians; and continue developing the artistic excellence of the orchestra.
