Albany Symphony Central to the Residency, the Albany Symphony performed both existing works as well as commissioned works by each composer. The orchestra instituted a reading session for the composers to try out their works in progress. Over the three years, each composer participated in a newly created adult education forum designing their own composition workshop. Activities ranged from adult composition workshops to music appreciation seminars around open rehearsals.
