Empyrean Ensemble Quintet will be a single movement work using the same instrumentation as Schubert’s "Trout" quintet for piano and strings and will be performed alongside this work in concert. The premiere performances will be in May 2009 at the The Green Room (San Francisco, CA) and The Throckmorton Theatre (Mill Valley, CA) by The Left Coast Chamber Ensemble, and at the Mondavi Theatre (University of California at Davis) by The Empyrean Ensemble on their 2009 season.
