Meet the Composer

The Aeolian Winds of Pittsburgh will give the premiere performance of Greg Bartholomew's new work for wind quintet on November 9, 2008 as part of a recital on the Sanctuary Concert Series held at the First Baptist Church of Pittsburgh. During the program, Mr. Bartholomew will introduce the work to the audience. The performance will be recorded for later broadcast on WQED-fm. Following the premiere performance at the First Baptist Church of Pittsburgh, there will be a post-concert reception during which audience members can interact with both the composer and the performers and speak with them in a relaxed social atmosphere.
