North American Guqin Association Leading guqin master Professor Li Xiangting traveled from China to the US to collaborate with the North American Guqin Association. The events included concerts showcasing Professor Li's new compositions and improvisations on the guqin at the San Francisco International Arts Festival and at UCLA; pre-concert lectures and demonstrations of the new works for the guqin; and a series of master classes and workshops on the arts of the guqin.
