The Naregatsi Art Institute presented several concerts of composer Hodian's works at both their own recital hall and at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall in Yerevan Armenia. Hodian worked with a large number of local musicians in the presentation of his work. In some of these works Hodian used local musicians playing principally indigenous instruments. Hodian also researched and began the early phase of writing an opera based on the Armenian genocide. Hodian was forging new relationships with some of
Armenia's foremost playwrights and poets. There was a great hunger for access to and knowledge about new technologies for all phases of new music creation in Armenia. Hodian gave several workshops on the use of computers and synthesizers as compositional tools, the use of the recording studio as a compositional tool as well as the use of computers and signal processors in live performance.
