Randall Woolf

Highlights of Randall Woolf's 2009-10 residency with Fulcrum Point New Music include:

• presenting Woolf's work on three concerts in the 2009-10 season and numerous other outreach performances
• to help the next generation of composers reach the public, Randall Woolf and Fulcrum Point will host a reading session and competition for young composers
• presenting a series of chamber music soirées organized by wine importer Vin Divino, a long time donor to Fulcrum Point, enabling the community, the musicians of Fulcrum Point and Mr. Woolf to interact socially
• mentoring of a selected promising composer, which will include meeting for lessons, attending rehearsals and concerts of Fulcrum Point, and writing a chamber work to be presented by Fulcrum Point
• presenting classes at schools, as well as one at the Cook County Correctional Facility, in which musicians from Fulcrum Point will perform Mr. Woolf's work for turntables, drum machines, and video
