Meet the Composer

Performances for this project include two shows for the public at The Cabaret Theatre in Indianapolis, Indiana, March 5 and 6,2009. Other performances will include master classes and lectures at five area high schools in Indianapolis, Indiana, during the week of March 1-4,2010. The composer will perform original material from several of her other projects creating one music montage. Following each performance the composer will provide a question and answer opportunity regarding the creation of the project. The composer will also facilitate a workshop for aspiring high school student composers. The workshops will be held at the high school partner sites to allow for more student participation. Both the composer and aspiring student composers from the schools will have an opportunity to share their work and discuss composition techniques.
