About Meet The Composer: For thirty four years, Meet The Composer has served composers, performers and audiences alike through a bracing variety of commissioning, residency, education, and audience interaction programs. Specifically, MTC has supported the creation of more than 1,400 new works and the dissemination of those works to live audiences totaling over 45 million. It distributes over one million dollars annually to artists through eight principal programs. To date, Meet The Composer has served over 6,500 composers.
