Meet The Composer and StreamingCulture, a streaming media enterprise based at the CUNY New Media Lab, have recently partnered to launch the Music in New York project.
Music in New York, generously funded by the Elebash Foundation, was developed to assist local music organizations by providing the means to enhance their existing web sites with high-quality streaming audio and video clips.
How does streaming differ from conventional downloads?
It is quite simple. Streaming media begins playing almost immediately after a link is clicked.
