Zeitgeist The Making of Americans will be a multimedia stage work combining the forces two ensembles (Zeitgeist, a chamber ensemble, and Ethel, a string quartet), texts by Gertrude Stein, archival footage, and newly created visuals. The piece premieres at the Walker Art Center in late 2007 and will tour other locations in Minnesota and the Northeast.
