Meet the Composer

The Boston Modern Orchestra Project brought Armenian composer Vache Sharafyan to Boston for the premiere of his new work for Duduk and orchestra as part BMOP's retrospective of Alan Hovaness's work. In addition, Mr. Sharafyan visited with young composers at Boston Arts Academy and presented composition seminars to university composers as well as discussing his music with the audience at a pre-concert talk and post-concert reception with members of the audience and special guests from the Armenian community in Boston.
