Meet the Composer

Inheritance, Authenticity and Healing: An Acknowledgment of a Celebration will both integrate and juxtapose orchestral compositions with break and modern dance. The piece will be developed as a nine movement orchestral cycle that will feature freestyle break-dance and modern dance elements. The artist line-up will include 35 musicians and 10 dancers. In addition to concert presentations, Earshot Jazz will present a scaled-down version to youths at community centers in central Seattle.
