Dafnis Prieto

Prieto composed this suite for his ensemble, the Absolute Quintet. The suite is a series of five individual pieces linked by time and encompassing a full spectrum of musical influences—from European concert music to electronica to post-bop, funk, rock and blues—all underscored by the inevitable pull of the claves.
