Stew

The new work by Stew, Making It, is a music-driven project, conceived as a multi-media, rock show collage of song, text, and video with his longtime artistic collaborator Heidi Rodewald. With Making It Stew and Heidi want to tell the story of their shared 12 year artistic and personal journey. They want to create a new music theater work that is infused with the authenticity of live rock music, in which the text and staging appear to be as fluid and spontaneous as the music and leave the audience with the impression that they have witnessed a unique show that changes every night. A three-week residency at St. Ann’s in January 2010 will precede three weeks of 15 performances in February 2010.
