Join the Marin Symphony for the fifth installment of their 2009-10 classical series which features the premiere of David Carlson's The Promise of Time, an orchestral song cycle created in collaboration with poet Susan Kinsolving. Soprano Christine Brewer is the featured soloist and Marin Symphony Music Director Alasdair Neale conducts.
This work was commissioned as part of the Magnum Opus project—a major commissioning project executed by Meet The Composer in collaboration with founding patron Kathryn Gould which has brought to life this and 13 other new works for orchestra.
